Class Policies

Yes. The $7 Late Cancel / No Show fee does apply to you…

If you must cancel your workout, be sure to do so at least 8 hours before the class start time to allow others to join. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

MAKE THIS YOUR HAPPY PLACE

Our top priority at The Studio is that you always have a fun, safe workout. We encourage smiling, giggling, and general silliness. We do not, however, tolerate any behavior or language that may insult or offend other students or instructors. We also discourage any negative talk about YOUR OWN body, balance, rhythm (or lack thereof) while in The Studio.

RESERVATION HESITATION

We understand that sometimes “life” gets in the way of your workouts. When you register for a class, not only are you making a commitment to yourself, but you are holding a reservation for space and equipment. We recommend you reserve your space early to be guaranteed a spot on the floor. If “life” should rear its ugly head, you may retract your reservation as an EARLY cancellation – at least 8 hours before the scheduled start of class and the appropriate amount of credit(s) will be refunded to your account.

If you LATE CANCEL (within 8 hours prior to the start of class) or if you do not show up for your scheduled class, your credit will not be refunded AND you will be charged a $7  Late Cancel/ No Show fee.

♦ $7 Late Cancel / No Show fees will be charged the day following the missed class.

♦ Each student is allowed two (2) emergency cancellations per calendar year, free of charge.

YOUR PLAYGROUND, NOT THEIRS

We want your time at The Studio to be your own so we recommend that you leave the little ones at home.

Children 14 and older may participate in classes ONLY WITH INSTRUCTORS PERMISSION AND A GUARDIAN PRESENT. All registration and payment proceedures remain the same for a minor’s participation. For more information on our policy regarding children, click here.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

We ask that you arrive to class on time and to respect other class participants who may be finishing up/cooling down.

For your safety please do not join a class that has been in progress for more than 15 minutes. You will have not have had a proper warm-up and this increases your risk of injury.

FASHION POLICE

The Studio instructors are perfectly comfortable teaching in a room full of jammy-clad students but here are a few guidelines to remember:

  • Refrain from anything over-sized as it may impede your range of motion.
  • Do NOT wear “butt-shaping” shoes to cardio classes. These are not designed for aerobic activity and they will greatly increase your risk for injury.
  • We ask that both men and women wear at least a tank-top. Sports bras are permissible in women’s only classes.

When attending a Warm-Room Yoga class, please avoid wearing any perfumes or colognes.

BUM EQUIPMENT

The Studio has everything you’ll need for a great workout but you can certainly bring your own equipment. Private equipment that is left in The Studio may be considered a gift and sold on ebay. So remember, what you pack in, be sure to pack out.
