Community

We enjoy showcasing our classes  to encourage our community to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle and to show people just how fun fitness can be!

If you would like to invite our instructors to your next event to showcase a class – just let us know! You pick the format and we’ll do the rest! Watch your boss Belly Dance, get your office focused with some Yoga or shake up your next pool party with  Zumba! We’ll give everyone 1 FREE CREDIT and it sure beats bringing stale doughnuts to your next office meeting! Ask your instructor or contact Kim at kim@nampafitstudio.com for more information.

These are just a few local events, businesses and charities that Nampa Fit Studio is proud to support:

Girls On The Run Treasure Valley

The Studio is the proud host of the Nampa chapter of Girls On The Run. We use our facility and expertise to coach this non-competitive, non-profit, prevention program for girls in the 3rd through 5th grade. The GOTR program combines training for a 5k run with curriculum has been proven to improve girls’ self-esteem, body image, and eating attitudes. The organizations mission is “to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.” If you know a girl who may benefit from this program or if you are interested in coaching or “running buddy” opportunities contact Kim at kim@nampafitstudio.com.

Hodia – Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs

The Studio was honored to be a sponsor of  Hodia’s 1st annual $10,000 Canyon County Weight Loss Challenge.  We gave each contestant 3 free Studio credits to start them on their journey. The contest ran February – July and 602 contestants lost a total of over 5,000 pounds!!!

Team Nampa Fit Studio took 1st place for team weight loss and everyone was treated to salon makeover!

At the final weight in, The Studio Instructors took the stage and got the newly slimed crowd moving with TurboKick and Hip-Hop Hustle. In this photo instructors Vanna Jones, Ashlee Burchert, and Kim Rose pose with Moses Kinkini from NBC’s Biggest Loser Season 11.

Nampa Farmers Market The market is helping to revitalize the Nampa area and supports local businesses, offering a large variety of produce, foods, crafts, plants and flowers from local vendors. On any given Saturday you can find our Studio instructors on stage showcasing different class formats at the market, and it doesn’t take long before the crowd gets involved! We believe that a healthy lifestyle doesn’t end when your workout does! Eating fresh veggies from local farms- what could be better for your body and local business?

The Studio really can get people moving! Nampa Mayor Tom Dale and Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas join in a Hip-Hop Hustle demo at the Canyon County Music Festival, August 2011. And Jennifer Campbell gets the crowd up with some Bollywood Zumba! Proceeds from the event benefit Hope’s Door and Advocates Against Family Violence.
